What You'll Do
As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting the dentist and clinical team throughout the day.
Responsibilities include:

Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures
-
Provide chairside assistance during restorative, preventive, and surgical procedures
-
Take and process digital radiographs
-
Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and infection control standards
-
Record clinical notes and update patient charts
-
Prepare dental materials, instruments, and equipment
-
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions
-
Assist with impressions, temporaries, and laboratory cases as permitted by Pennsylvania regulations

Monitor inventory and maintain organized operatories

Help create a comfortable, welcoming experience for every patient

Qualifications
Required

High School Diploma or GED
-
Current Pennsylvania Dental Radiology Certification (or ability to obtain)

Current CPR/BLS Certification

Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred

Previous dental assisting experience

Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records

EFDA certification (welcome but not required)

Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar dental software
