Dentistry at Greenway in Surprise, AZ is seeking a friendly and professional general dental assistant to join their team. They are looking for a dental assistant with a great attitude, strong work ethic, detail oriented, communicates well with team members and patients. The position will be 2-3 days a week from 8am -5pm.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.
- Use of digital x-rays.
- Experience with use of digital scanner.
- Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
- Caring for dental equipment.
- Maintaining dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory.
- Fabricating temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
- Maintaining Sterilization for the office.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of dental assisting experience is preferred.
- Be self-motivated, organized, and have a positive attitude.
- Possess great understanding of dental terminology.
- Have excellent communication and written skills.
- Work well with patients and team.
- Be experienced in delivering high-level customer service.
- Reliable, shows initiative and friendly!
Schedule
- 2-3 days per week (Monday- Thursday)
- 8 am to 5 pm
