Dental Assistant (Travel Perio)

Overview:

Midwest Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking a Traveling Periodontal Dental Assistant to support our specialty provider across multiple locations. This is a unique opportunity for a flexible, team-oriented assistant who enjoys variety and working alongside a periodontal specialist.

Travel to all listed locations is required.

Schedule & Locations

This position follows a set weekly travel schedule:

• Mondays: Wauwatosa
• Tuesdays: Sheboygan
• Wednesdays: Oshkosh
• Thursdays & Fridays: Green Bay

 

Schedule (days/hours): Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Fridays 8:00am-4:00pm Responsibilities:

• Assist the periodontist chairside during surgical and non-surgical procedures
• Prepare and break down operatories for perio treatments
• Ensure proper sterilization and infection control protocols
• Take dental radiographs as needed
• Support patient education and post-operative instructions
• Travel between assigned offices and adapt to different team environments

Qualifications:

• Meet all state specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date)
• Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care
   
   

Compensation: $25-$30/hr About:
