Everwell TMJ & Sleep is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant who enjoys both patient care and treatment coordination. This is a unique opportunity to work in a modern specialty practice focused on TMJ disorders, sleep-disordered breathing, oral appliance therapy, and regenerative treatments.
This is not a traditional dental assisting role. We are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, compassionate, and passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with TMJ and sleep-related patient care.
- Provide chairside support as needed.
- Perform digital scanning and collect patient records.
- Educate patients regarding treatment recommendations and next steps.
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical efficiency.
- Coordinate scheduling and manage patient flow.
- Discuss treatment plans and financial arrangements.
- Collect payments and assist with administrative duties.
- Answer phones and support front office operations when needed.
- Deliver an outstanding patient experience from start to finish.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of dental assisting experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Self-motivated with strong initiative.
- Comfortable learning new technologies and specialty procedures.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Experience with treatment coordination, patient financing, or front office duties is highly preferred.
