Heartland Dental is the nations largest dental support organization, providing non-clinical administrative support services to more than 3,000 supported doctors across 39 states and the District of Columbia in over 1,800 dental offices. Each Heartland Dental supported office is unique to the community and the patients they serve. Supported doctors are the leaders of their practice and retain clinical autonomy. Growth Stories
We have a number of growth stories from our employees, including:
- Sylvia Fox, CDA: Sylvia Fox, CDA, joined Heartland Dental in 2010 as a dental assistant. She has since become a regional dental assistant mentor and has received numerous awards for her work.
- Sherrie Busby: Sherrie Busby joined Heartland Dental in 2014 as a dental assistant training developer. She has since become a corporate member of the Organization for Safety, Asepsis, and Prevention (OSAP) and has received numerous awards for her work.
- Dr. David Hurst: Dr. David Hurst joined Heartland Dental in 2010 as a supported doctor. He has since become a leader in his community and has received numerous awards for his work.
Qualifications
To be considered for a position at Heartland Dental, you will need to meet the following qualifications:
- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology: You will need to have a working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Experience working in a patient- or customer-centered environment: You will need to have experience working in a patient- or customer-centered environment.
- Dental assisting school certification: You will need to have dental assisting school certification.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills: You will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment: You will need to complete Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment.
Preferred Experience
We prefer candidates with the following experience:
- Dentrix or other dental software experience: We prefer candidates with dentrix or other dental software experience.
- Dental assisting school certification: We prefer candidates with dental assisting school certification.
