Full-Time Dental Assistant – Waterford & Clarkston Dentistry

Waterford Dental Practice is expanding our hours and days, and we’re looking for an outgoing, energetic, and career-minded Dental Assistant to join our growing team!

We’re seeking someone who has a genuine passion for patient care, customer service, and helping change people’s lives. If you’re looking to grow your dental career while working with a supportive and expanding team, we’d love to hear from you.

Schedule

• Monday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 1 Saturday a month: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of dental assisting experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality
• Excellent customer service skills
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental environment
• Passion for patient care and helping others
• Career-minded and eager to learn and grow

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during clinical procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments
• Take dental X-rays as permitted
• Maintain proper sterilization and infection control procedures
• Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort
• Educate patients on treatment and oral health when appropriate
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Support the dentist and clinical team throughout the day
• Help create a positive and welcoming patient experience
