Turpin Orthodontics is looking for an Orthodontic Assistant to join our established Ruston/West Monroe/Monroe team!

Schedule:
- Full-time.
- Monday through Thursday from 7:45AM-5:15PM.
- Fridays from 7:45AM to 12:00PM.

Qualifications:
- 1+ years of orthodontic assisting experience is required.
- Must be willing to travel to our Monroe, West Monroe, and Ruston locations on a weekly basis.
Job Duties:
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Taking extraoral and intraoral photographs.
- Taking dental impressions.
- Sterilization and packaging of orthodontic instruments.
- Disinfecting equipment and operatories.
- Maintaining inventory control of all lab equipment, supplies, instruments, and consumables.
- Preparing clinicians’ chair-side set-ups.
- Tying and untying patients.
- Applying orthodontic appliances under the supervision of the orthodontist.
- Pouring models.
- Fabricating retainers.
- Cleaning the lab and operatories, sweeping/mopping as needed.
- Cleaning common areas and removing the trash.
- Providing oral hygiene and home care instructions to patients and family members.
- And adherence to all OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
