Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site Dental Assistant position located in Winnetka, IL. The Dental Assistant will support one dentist in providing exceptional oral care to patients. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing patients for treatments, assisting during dental procedures, maintaining and sterilizing dental equipment, taking x-rays and ensuring patient comfort. Additional tasks may include administrative support, such as patient scheduling and record maintenance..

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and strong clinical skills in dentistry: mainly restorative, with some extractions, minor periodontal surgeries and pediatric dentistry
• Proficiency in dental tools and techniques, including Sterilization and 4-handed dentistry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support patient care
• Ability to manage time effectively and multitask, while being organized
• Commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the workplace according to state and national laws
• 4 ops, one hygienist, one front desk staff
• Oryx dental software, iTero scanner, digital x-rays, intra-oral camera
