Position Overview

As a Dental Assistant, you will be the right hand of our doctors, ensuring every patient feels comfortable and every procedure runs seamlessly. You’ll play a vital role in clinical support, patient education, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Chairside Assisting: Provide high-quality four-handed dentistry support during a variety of restorative and surgical procedures.

  • Patient Care: Prepare treatment rooms, turn over rooms efficiently, and ensure patients (adult and pediatric) feel at ease.

  • Diagnostics: Take high-quality dental radiographs and intraoral photos as directed.

  • Clinical Support: Perform sterilization of instruments, manage infection control protocols (OSHA/HIPAA), and maintain dental equipment.

  • Lab & Impressions: Take accurate impressions, pour models, and manage lab cases.

  • Documentation: Maintain precise, timely clinical notes and patient records.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Doctors and Hygienists to ensure a smooth flow of care throughout the day.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a private practice setting preferred.

  • Certifications: Active CPR/BLS certification is required.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital X-rays and modern dental software.

  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a team-first mentality.
