AppleWhite Dental of Worthington is currently looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and dependable Dental Billing & Insurance Coordinator to join our growing team!

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients warmly in person and by phone; check patients in and out for their appointments
  • Schedule appointments for dentists and hygienists; monitor provider schedules to ensure the day runs smoothly
  • Schedule emergency appointments as needed and maintain a call list to proactively fill schedule gaps
  • Prepare treatment plans and provide accurate cost estimates for services rendered or upcoming appointments
  • Submit pre-authorizations and verify patient insurance; enter and maintain insurance information in the database
  • Work with insurance companies to process and collect payments for services rendered
  • Handle accounts receivable, including processing deposits and managing the petty cash account
  • Assist with the collections process and end-of-day procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient files and document as needed
  • Process mail, coordinate lab requests, and assist with in-service workshops or meetings as needed
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 2 years of dental office experience
  • Prior dental insurance knowledge strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with EagleSoft practice management software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, patient-focused attitude with a genuine commitment to delivering an outstanding patient experience
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required
