Dental Front Desk Administrator


Location: Little Neck, NY


We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and personable Dental Front Desk Administrator to join our growing dental team. This multifaceted position combines front desk responsibilities with dental insurance coordination and plays a vital role in creating an exceptional patient experience.


The ideal candidate is friendly, articulate, dependable, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dental environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • Manage daily front desk operations efficiently and accurately
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries courteously
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage
  • Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims
  • Assist patients with billing questions and financial arrangements
  • Collect patient payments and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure patient information is updated and documented correctly
  • Maintain a welcoming, organized, and patient-focused office environment
  • Collaborate effectively with doctors and team members to support smooth office operations
Qualifications


  • Dentrix experience required
  • Previous experience in a dental front desk, insurance coordination, or dental office management role required
  • Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification, claims processing, and patient billing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, friendly, and dependable demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute to our office location
