Front Office Manager

Friddle Dental — Alexandria, VA

About Us

Friddle Dental is a private, single-doctor family and cosmetic dental practice in Alexandria, VA. Founded just 2.5 years ago, we've experienced rapid growth and are building something special — a patient-centered, non-corporate practice where the team genuinely enjoys coming to work. As we continue to mature and scale, we're looking for the right person to help lead the way.

Position Overview

We're seeking a Front Office Manager to run the day-to-day operations of the practice, working closely with and supported by the owner dentist. This is a leadership role for someone who wants to be part of building something great — not just maintaining the status quo. You'll manage the team, keep the office running smoothly, and help shape where the practice is headed.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily front office operations and keep the practice running efficiently
  • Manage, support, and help develop the front office and clinical support team, in partnership with the owner dentist
  • Answer phones and communicate with patients with warmth, clarity, and professionalism
  • Coordinate treatment plans with patients — presenting options, answering questions, and helping them move forward with care
  • Collect payments and manage patient account balances
  • Help establish and track long-term practice goals, and build plans to achieve them
  • Support scheduling, insurance, and billing processes to keep the schedule and revenue cycle healthy
  • Serve as a key partner to the owner dentist in decisions about growth, staffing, and practice direction
What We're Looking For

  • Experience working in a dental office (front office, treatment coordination, or practice management)
  • Strong phone and patient communication skills
  • Experience with treatment plan coordination and payment collection
  • Comfortable managing or mentoring a small team
  • A great personality — someone patients and teammates both enjoy being around
  • A true team player who leads by example
  • Someone excited to grow with a practice — comfortable with the pace and evolving needs of a still-maturing, rapidly growing business
  • Organized, proactive, and able to think ahead about where the practice is going, not just what's happening today
What You Can Expect From Us

  • A private practice — one dentist, direct collaboration, no corporate layers
  • A real seat at the table in shaping the practice's future
  • A fast-growing, exciting environment with room to make the role your own
  • A supportive, fun, patient-centric team culture
  • The chance to help build a great dental office from the ground up
