Join Our Pediatric Dental Team!

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dependable Dental Hygienist to join our pediatric dental practice 4 days per week.

Our office is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a fun, friendly, and welcoming environment. We are seeking a hygienist who genuinely enjoys working with children and is passionate about helping young patients develop healthy habits that last a lifetime.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care for pediatric patients

• Take dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations

• Perform fluoride treatments and other preventive procedures

• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene and cavity prevention

• Create a positive, comfortable, and age-appropriate experience for patients

• Assist with behavior guidance and help children feel comfortable during their visits

• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation

• Communicate effectively with parents, the dentist, and the dental team

• Follow OSHA, infection-control, and office safety protocols

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygiene license in Maryland

• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• Previous pediatric dental experience preferred, but not required

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Patient, compassionate, and comfortable working with children of all ages

• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented

• Positive attitude and willingness to create a fun experience for our young patients
