We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Dental Hygienist to become a part of our expanding dental practice. In this role, you will support the dentist in various procedures and manage the operation of x-ray equipment. To excel in this position, candidates should possess a valid state hygiene license along with prior experience in dental hygiene.

Key Responsibilities of the Dental Hygienist:
- Utilizing dental tools to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth and below gum margins.
- Reviewing and documenting patient medical histories.
- Employing probes to assess and identify periodontal issues and other signs of gum disease.
- Documenting instances of dental decay and disease for the dentist's diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintaining dental equipment and managing x-ray machines.
- Conducting visual and tactile examinations of gums for signs of disease, sores, and other oral health concerns.
- Encouraging preventive dental care to enhance patient oral health.
- Applying fluoride and other agents to prevent dental decay.
- Collaborating with dentists and dental assistants.
- Overseeing a dental hygiene program for patients.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Valid state hygiene license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Capability to administer local anesthetics.
- Proficiency in operating x-ray machines.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Comfortable using computers for various tasks.
- In-depth knowledge of oral hygiene and dental health practices.
