Dental Hygienist

This role is well-suited for a hygienist who takes pride in providing attentive, thorough patient care while working alongside a supportive, close-knit group of dental professionals. You will play a key role in helping patients maintain good oral health through preventive care, education, and collaboration with the broader dental team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Performing dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to remove plaque, tartar, and stains
• Reviewing patient dental and medical histories to identify any relevant health concerns
• Taking and processing dental X-rays and other diagnostic images as needed
• Conducting oral health assessments and screening for signs of gum disease, decay, or other conditions
• Applying preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants
• Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and personalized home care routines
• Documenting patient care and treatment notes accurately in dental software
• Communicating findings and observations to the dentist to support diagnosis and treatment planning
• Maintaining sterilization and infection control standards in accordance with regulations
• Collaborating with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to keep patient visits running smoothly
• Staying up to date on best practices, materials, and techniques in dental hygiene

What We're Looking For

• Associate degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Active, valid dental hygiene license in good standing as required by the state of practice
• Solid clinical skills in cleanings, scaling, and preventive care procedures
• Strong communication skills with patients and coworkers
• Attention to detail and a genuine commitment to patient comfort and care
• Good organizational and time-management habits
• Comfort using dental practice software and digital imaging systems
• A professional approach to patient confidentiality and safety
• CPR certification, as required
