Registered Dental Hygienist (Part-Time) | Sanford L. Barr, DDS

Sanford L. Barr, DDS is seeking a friendly, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. We are looking for a hygienist who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and building lasting relationships with patients.

Schedule

Part-Time Position

• Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Appointment Times

• Recall & Periodontal Maintenance Appointments: 60 minutes
• New Patient Appointments: 90 minutes

Compensation

• $55-$60 per hour OR
• 35% of adjusted production
• Compensation structure will be based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene procedures
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings
• Take digital radiographs (X-rays)
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Perform scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with the doctor and team to deliver excellent patient care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license
• Current local anesthesia certification (if required by state law)
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality care
• Experience preferred, but motivated candidates are encouraged to apply
