Family Dentistry at Short Pump Location: 11549-A Nuckols Rd. Glen Allen, VA Schedule: Mon-Thurs 7:30 am- 4:30 pm Bi-weekly, hourly pay + ability to opt into Daily Pay to receive paycheck as earned. Ability to earn daily + quarterly bonuses! We have CE coverage available! Full time is a minimum of 30HRS to receive full benefits package to include UnitedHealthcare PPO Health Care. Position: Full-Time Dental Hygienist

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist who is passionate about improving patients' oral health and creating memorable experiences. The ideal candidate is:

Hard-working - consistently demonstrates strong clinical standards, time management skills, and a commitment to high-quality patient care. Collaborative - works efficiently within a team environment, communicates clearly, and contributes to a positive, solutions-oriented culture. Detail-oriented - attentive to clinical accuracy, documentation, patient education, and infection-control protocols.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and preventive care Take and interpret digital radiographs Deliver thorough and clear patient education Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation Ensure sterilization and infection-control standards Support restorative care by collaborating with the doctor and clinical team Help maintain a smooth, efficient daily workflow

Required Qualifications

Active Virginia Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license Current CPR/BLS certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth

Preferred Experience

Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health Clinical needs as required by office Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment

Qualifications

Current dental hygienist license Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation CPR Certification
