Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will screen patients, perform dental cleanings, and assist the dentists with exams and routine dental hygiene procedures. The ideal candidate is state-licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist and has your nitrous and local endorsements. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you! We are currently seeking someone to fill our Monday and Friday schedule with the ability to pick up other days in the week as well. New grads are always welcome. We are offering $60.00 to start (based on experience and is negotiable) We have a great benefit package as well!
Responsibilities
Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
Discuss the patients "hygiene" dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
Take vital signs and accurately record medical histories
Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories
Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease
Teach good oral hygiene techniques
Take exceptional x-rays
Assist dentist during your hygiene exams and treatment plan when needed
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
Current Dental Hygienist licensure
Strong understanding of HIPAA and OSHA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
Hold current CPR certification
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Believe in teamwork and work well with others
be good at conflict resolution when and if ever needed
