Registered Dental Hygienist - Cambridge Dentistry

Cambridge Dentistry is looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! We’re seeking a compassionate, patient-focused hygienist who is dedicated to providing excellent clinical care and creating a positive experience for every patient.

This is a flexible opportunity with full-time hours available through a combination of the days listed below. Wednesday and Friday schedules will become available as the practice adds a doctor.

Schedule

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (opening in the future)
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (opening in the future)
• Every Other Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (optional)

We are open to different combinations of these days to create a full-time schedule that works for both the hygienist and the practice.

Hygiene Appointment Times

• New Patient Exams: 60 or 90 minutes
• Existing Patient Exams: 60 minutes

Our appointment times allow hygienists to provide thorough, personalized care while focusing on patient education and building strong patient relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preventive dental hygiene care
• Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing as needed
• Complete oral health assessments and document findings accurately
• Take digital radiographs as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Build strong relationships with patients through compassionate, high-quality care
• Collaborate with the doctor and dental team
• Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Michigan
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Passion for patient care and education
• Ability to work collaboratively with a dental team
• Reliable, professional, and patient-focused
