Responsibilities
- Provide preventive dental hygiene services for pediatric patients.
- Perform dental cleanings, periodontal assessments, fluoride treatments, and patient education.
- Take digital radiographs as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Partner with doctors and the clinical team to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
- Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the State of Alabama.
- Previous pediatric experience is a plus but not required.
- Must enjoy working with children and families.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Approximately 30–40 hours per week
- Typical hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Average patient schedule allows one hour per patient, though there may be times when two patients are seen within an hour depending on the schedule.
