About the Role:
BGOFF LEBOVITZ DENTAL ARTS  is looking for a skilled and passionate Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join their team in West Orange, NJ! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a patient-focused dental practice where your expertise and care make a real difference in people's smiles every day.



Responsibilities:

• Perform routine dental cleanings and oral prophylaxis treatments for patients
• Conduct thorough periodontal assessments and document findings in patient charts
• Take and review dental X-rays and radiographs as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Screen patients for oral health conditions including gum disease and oral cancer
• Collaborate with the dentist to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
• Maintain a clean, sterilized, and OSHA-compliant treatment environment with Dental Assistant help

Requirements:

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of New Jersey
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with dental practice management software is a plus (Dentrix)
• Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dental care
• Excellent chairside manner with the ability to put patients at ease
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
