We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist who is eager to contribute to our patient's health and the overall success of our team. Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct initial dental assessments and consult with the dentist on patient care.
Perform teeth cleaning and apply fluoride, and other substances for protecting teeth.
Take dental x-rays and provide proper care and maintenance of dental equipment.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene strategies and preventative dental care.
Develop individualized care plans for patients, focusing on improving their oral health over the long term.
Maintain patient dental records and document therapies for future reference.
Provide expert guidance and advice to patients on nutrition and its impact on oral health.
Comply with precise standards of infection control imposed by OSHA and the CDC guidelines.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements
Current and valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). Laser and Anesthesia certifications in Arizona with no restrictions.
Excellent verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on patient-friendly language.
Professional and positive demeanor, with a patient-centric approach to dental care.
Ability to manage time effectively, ensuring timely and accurate treatment delivery.
Demonstrated ability to operate modern dental technology and software for patient management.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills for comprehensive patient care.
Experience with digital record-keeping and data privacy principles pertaining to patient information.
Eagerness to participate in continuing education programs to keep up-to-date with new dental practices and technology.
Team-oriented mindset and the ability to contribute positively to a collaborative work environment.
Passion for expanded functions as permitted by the dental practice act of Arizona.
