Dental Hygienist

We're seeking an amazing part-time Dental Hygienist for our practice in Poway, CA!

Our practice is growing, and we are in search for another enthusiastic hygienist to join our patient-focused team located in beautiful Poway, CA. We are looking for someone who will fit well into our dynamic group. The ideal candidate is a caring, friendly, and professional dental hygienist who cares and treats our patients like family. We pride ourselves on focusing on a healthy foundation for each patient. Our doctors and hygienists work together on diagnosing periodontal therapy and are up to date on current AAP guidelines. We are looking for a Dental Hygienist who is detail oriented, excited about customer service, ready to work hard, and has a great outgoing personality.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet patients 
• Conduct initial oral screenings 
• Identify conditions such as periodontal diseases, gingivitis  
• Performing the appropriate oral hygiene procedure for each patient 
• Educating patients on oral hygiene 
• Sterilize dental instruments 
• Follow infection control standards 
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient 

Requirements:

• Diploma in Dental Hygiene
• Valid California Dental Hygiene license 
• Basic knowledge of practice management software 
• A valid CPR Card
