Red Lake Hospital is a comprehensive Indian Health Service (Client) facility and the sole healthcare provider within a 30-mile radius. The multi-disciplinary 23-bed hospital offers a full spectrum of services including emergency medicine, inpatient and outpatient care, behavioral health, pharmacy, radiology, physical therapy, and a modern 11-chair dental clinic completed in 2010. The dental department serves approximately 10,000 patients and provides urgent and routine dental care to the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians and surrounding communities. Responsibilities

• Perform oral prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
• Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments
• Take and interpret dental radiographs
• Provide preventive care including sealants and fluoride treatments
• Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Document all care in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants on treatment plans

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Current Minnesota RDH license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred

Schedule

Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM CST " Federal holidays off
