Dental hygienist role is located in Vilseck, Germany and requires candidates to relocate.

Compensation: $59.69 per hour ($120,000 year) + additional benefits.

Decypher will provide Visa and relocation assistance up to $25,000

Job Summary: The dental hygienist will providepreventive dental care by conducting hygiene assessments, oral screenings, periodontal evaluations, and routine procedures while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Collaborate with the dental team to support treatment plans, educate patients on oral health, and maintain accurate documentation to promote high-quality, patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree depending on the program.
    • Successful completion of a dental hygiene program accredited by the CODA of the ADA.
  • Certifications:
    • AHA/ARC BLS.
    • 10 Digit NPI #.
    • Certified in Radiography.
  • License:
    • License to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 year of specialized experience following post-graduation from a dental hygiene school.

U.S. Citizenship is required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dental hygiene assessments, including review of medical and dental histories.
  • Conduct oral health screenings and periodontal evaluations to identify signs of oral disease.
  • Perform preventive dental procedures, including:
    • Dental prophylaxis (cleanings), scaling, and root planning
    • Application of fluoride, sealants, and desensitizing agents
    • Expose, process, and evaluate dental radiographs in accordance with radiography certification and safety standards.
  • Assist in the early detection and documentation of oral diseases or abnormalities and report findings to the dentist.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
  • Provide individualized preventive care guidance to promote long-term oral health.
  • Explain dental procedures, preventive treatments, and post-treatment instructions clearly and compassionately.
  • Work collaboratively with dentists and other dental team members to support treatment plans and continuity of care.
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
  • Prepare patients and treatment areas to maximize comfort, safety, and efficiency.
  • Accurately document clinical findings, treatments rendered, and patient education in dental records.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, infection control, and HIPAA standards.
  • Follow established protocols related to sterilization, instrument processing, and clinical safety.
  • Maintain active licensure to practice as a Dental Hygienist in accordance with state requirements.
  • Participate in continuing education to stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practice.
  • Support efficient clinic operations by maintaining readiness of equipment, instruments, and supplies.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and patient-centered clinical environment.
  • Assist with quality assurance initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of clinical services.

Work Environment & Schedule: Onsite, Vilseck, Germany. Monday to Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm.
