Mountain View Dental is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing team in beautiful Ruidoso, New Mexico.

About the Position

As a Dental Hygienist, you'll play an essential role in helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. You'll provide preventive and periodontal care, educate patients on their individual needs, and work closely with the dentist and clinical team to deliver comprehensive treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine dental hygiene and periodontal maintenance services
• Perform scaling and root planing as appropriate
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and periodontal health
• Review and document patient medical and dental histories
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations
• Identify and communicate periodontal and oral health concerns
• Collaborate with the dentist and clinical team to develop and provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Active New Mexico Dental Hygiene License
• Strong understanding of periodontal health and preventive dentistry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient-focused approach to clinical care
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
• Passion for patient education and building strong patient relationships
