About the Role Our busy and growing dental practice is seeking a self-motivated, detailed-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team
. In this role, you will deliver hands-on preventative and periodontal patient care, conduct oral health screenings, educate patients, and collaborate closely with dentists to support comprehensive oral health
.

• Pay Rate: $40.00 – $50.00 / hour

• Bonus Structure: Opportunities to earn monthly production bonuses and incentive pay based on performance metrics
  

• Job Type: Full-time, In-Office
  

• Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    

  • Note: Flexibility to travel to local nearby practice locations as needed
    .

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Hygiene Services

• Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, sealant application, fluoride treatments, and impression taking
  .

• Administer local anesthetic agents and handle emergency dental situations as necessary
  .

• Conduct medical/dental history reviews, vital sign checks, risk assessments, and extra/intraoral examinations
  .

• Take diagnostic radiographs (x-rays) and document clinical conditions accurately in patient charts
  .

• Sterilize instruments, sharpen tools, and disinfect operatories between patients in accordance with OSHA, HIPAA, and universal precautions
  .

Patient Education & Practice Growth

• Deliver comprehensive oral health education, demonstrating proper brushing/flossing techniques and providing nutritional counseling
  .

• Advise patients on treatment recommendations, present smile feedback options, and refer suspicious findings or decay to the dentist
  .

• Schedule patients for follow-up hygiene visits and assist with front-office recall efforts as needed
  .

Key Performance Metrics

• Rebook/reschedule 95%+ of patients for future hygiene visits
  .

• Maintain $150/hour in unassisted production
  .

• Complete adult hygiene recare and new patient appointments within 60 minutes (90%+ of the time)
  .

• Maintain a minimum 50% fluoride acceptance rate
  .

Requirements & Qualifications

Required:

• Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited CODA program
  .

• Active State Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in good standing
  .

• Current CPR certification and Radiograph/X-ray certification
  .

• 1+ years of experience as a practicing Dental Hygienist
  .

Preferred:

• Competency across all periodontal classifications, dental hygiene diagnosis, and case presentations
  .

• Strong clinical problem-solving skills and thorough understanding of ethical, legal, and regulatory concepts
  .

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  .
