Location: National Dental | Bronx, NYCompensation: $60–$65/hour (W-2) Patient Mix: PPO  / Medicaid  / FFS  Practice Model: Assisted HygieneSchedule: Full-time, 5 days per week, May include Saturdays based on office needs Benefits Eligibility: Employees regularly scheduled to work 30+ hours per week may be eligible for benefits.

We’re searching for a dedicated hygienist who thrives on educating patients, championing preventive care, and creating outstanding patient experiences every day.

What You'll Do 

• Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance 

• Conduct periodontal charting and assessments 

• Take diagnostic radiographs 

• Deliver patient education and oral hygiene instruction 

• Identify and communicate treatment needs to patients and providers 

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation 

• Support comprehensive patient care through collaboration with dentists and team members 

• Promote preventive dentistry and long-term oral health 

Requirements

Required 

• Active Dental Hygiene License in New York

• Local Anesthesia Certification (if applicable by state) 

• Laser Certification 

• Current CPR/BLS Certification 

• Strong communication and patient education skills 

• Commitment to quality patient care 

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment 

Preferred 

• Experience with assisted hygiene models 

• Experience in PPO, Fee-for-Service, and/or Medicaid environments 

• Experience with periodontal therapy 

• Experience with patient education and treatment acceptance 

• Bilingual skills
