Position Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who is passionate about working with children and delivering exceptional patient care. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, positive, and team-oriented pediatric dental environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide preventive dental care, including prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and sealants
• Perform dental cleanings for infants, children, and adolescents
• Take and interpret dental radiographs in accordance with Texas regulations
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care
• Support behavior management techniques to ensure a positive patient experience
• Assist the doctor with exams and pediatric procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Follow infection control protocols and OSHA standards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (including lactation consultants and therapists) to support whole-child health

Qualifications & Requirements (Texas RDH)

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the State of Texas
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Certification to administer local anesthesia (preferred or required based on practice scope)
• Nitrous oxide monitoring certification (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of pediatric dental procedures and behavior management techniques
• Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills with both children and parents
• A compassionate, patient-focused approach with a positive attitude
