Description:
• Join our healthcare team as a licensed professional providing preventive and periodontal care in a community-focused setting.
• This full-time role in Trenton, NJ, requires collaboration with dentists and support staff to enhance patient oral health.
• Ideal for those experienced in using electronic healthcare systems.
Requirements:
• Perform dental prophylaxis for patients.
• Conduct periodontal assessments and charting.
• Assist with periodontal maintenance and patient recall visits.
• Administer topical anesthesia as permitted by licensure.
• Evaluate and treat conditions affecting teeth and gums.
• Explain treatment plans and provide oral health education.
• Maintain accurate dental records.
Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Current Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey.
• Competency in preventive and periodontal dental care.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with electronic dental records preferred.
