Arlington Dental Group is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team. This role is ideal for a licensed professional who is passionate about preventative care, patient education, and building lasting relationships with patients. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
- Conduct periodontal charting and thorough patient assessments
- Take and review digital radiographs (X-rays)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventative treatments
- Identify and communicate areas of concern to the doctor
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
- Create a comfortable and positive experience for patients
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the applicable state required
- Computer literacy; experience with Open Dental is a plus
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care
