Dixie Dental is looking for a motivated and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our growing team in Washington, Utah.

This is a great opportunity for a hygienist looking for a consistent part-time schedule with the potential to grow into full-time hours. You'll join a supportive, collaborative team that values patient relationships, clinical excellence, and creating a positive experience for every patient.

About the Position

At Dixie Dental, our team is committed to helping patients achieve long-term oral health while making every visit comfortable and positive.

As a Dental Hygienist, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients, provide individualized preventive care, and educate patients about maintaining healthy smiles.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and create a friendly, comfortable experience
• Perform comprehensive oral health screenings
• Identify gingivitis, periodontal disease, and other oral health conditions
• Provide appropriate dental hygiene and preventive services
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Build strong, lasting relationships with patients
• Maintain accurate patient charts and clinical documentation
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized operatory
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards
• Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Active Utah Dental Hygiene License
• Current CPR certification
• Basic knowledge of dental practice management software
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive, professional attitude
• Patient-focused approach to care
• Passion for oral health and patient education
