Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal assessments for patients.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
• Document patient treatments and maintain accurate records.
• Manage infection control protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
• Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries with professionalism.
• Stay updated on the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

• Valid state license to practice dental hygiene in Pennsylvania.
• Associate's degree in dental hygiene or equivalent education.
• Experience in a dental office preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records.
