Full-Time Dental Hygienist

Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist for a full-time opportunity with one of our healthcare partners within travel distance of Tacoma, WA.

This position is a great fit for a Dental Hygienist who enjoys providing hands-on preventative care while helping patients better understand and improve their oral health. You’ll join a collaborative healthcare team and provide dental hygiene services through both onsite and mobile dental clinics, helping expand access to quality dental care throughout the community.

About the Position

• Full-time, permanent Dental Hygienist opportunity
• 1.0 FTE – 40 hours per week
• Day shift schedule
• Provide preventative and therapeutic dental hygiene services
• Perform dental cleanings, assessments, and appropriate treatments
• Take and document dental X-rays
• Review patient information and accurately document treatments and clinical findings
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventative care, and maintaining long-term dental health
• Provide services in both onsite and mobile dental clinic settings
• Maintain proper sterilization and infection prevention practices
• Follow established patient safety procedures and clinical protocols
• Ensure compliance with CDC, OSHA, and WISHA standards
• Work closely with dentists and other members of the healthcare team
• Provide a welcoming, professional, and positive experience for patients

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene Program
• Active Washington State Dental Hygienist License required
• Anesthetic Endorsement required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Familiarity with CDC sterilization and infection prevention standards
• Knowledge of OSHA and WISHA requirements
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Excellent attention to detail and clinical documentation
• Team-oriented approach with a commitment to exceptional patient care
