Cedar Dental Care is a growing, multi-provider dental practice seeking a high-performing Dental Treatment Coordinator who can help patients move from diagnosis to treatment acceptance with clarity, trust, and professionalism.
We are offering $27–$33/hour depending on experience, for someone who is comfortable discussing money, confident with treatment presentations, and skilled at patient communication.
This is a key role in the practice—not a basic front desk position.
POSITION DETAILS:
- Full-time Dental Treatment Coordinator.
- Location: Fremont, California.
- Pay: $27–$33/hour (based on experience & performance).
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday.
- Days off: Wednesday & Sunday.
- Saturday availability is REQUIRED.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
This role is focused on treatment acceptance and patient communication, not just scheduling.
You will work directly with doctors and patients to:
- Present dental treatment plans clearly and confidently.
- Explain patient financial responsibility in a simple, supportive way.
- Discuss payment options and financing solutions.
- Help patients overcome hesitation, fear, or cost concerns.
- Follow up on unscheduled or pending treatment.
- Convert diagnosed treatment into scheduled appointments.
- Support larger cases (implants, crowns, Invisalign, cosmetic, full-mouth rehab).
- Track treatment acceptance and case progress.
- Coordinate closely with clinical and front office teams.
- Understand insurance estimates and breakdowns.
- Collect patient portions professionally.
Dentrix experience is strongly preferred but not required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1–2+ years of dental office experience.
- Comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial responsibility.
- Strong communication and patient relationship skills.
- Dependable with consistent attendance.
- Ability to work Saturdays regularly.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior Dental Treatment Coordinator experience.
- Experience presenting $5,000+ treatment plans.
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software.
- Experience with insurance breakdowns and estimates.
