Dental Receptionist – Full-Time
Fresno, California
A-Team Dental Staffing has partnered with an established private dental practice in Fresno, California, to recruit an experienced, friendly, and dependable Dental Receptionist for a direct-hire opportunity.
This people-oriented and team-focused practice has served the community for more than 20 years. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and comfortable supporting patients who may experience dental anxiety.
Schedule
Monday through Thursday
8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Full-time, direct-hire position
Compensation
Up to $25 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities
Welcome patients and create a friendly, reassuring first impression
Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions
Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
Accurately enter and maintain patient information
Present treatment estimates and discuss financial arrangements
Collect payments and maintain accurate account records
Monitor the schedule and help keep the office running efficiently
Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and team members
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
Requirements
Previous dental front-office or dental receptionist experience preferred
Dentrix experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of PPO dental insurance and benefit verification
Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills
Comfortable discussing treatment costs and collecting payments
Compassionate and patient when assisting individuals with dental anxiety
