Dental Receptionist **Temporary Position**

Temporary Dental Receptionist (August - Late November)

East Valley Periodontics is a busy, patient-focused specialty practice with a welcoming team and a positive work culture. We take pride in delivering exceptional care and creating a great experience for every patient.

We're looking for a friendly, organized Dental Receptionist to join our team on a temporary basis from August through late November. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll help create a welcoming experience while supporting the smooth operation of our front office.

Schedule: Mon - Thu 8am-5pm, Fri 8a-3p

• Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
• Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
• Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
• Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
• Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of dental front office experience

Preferred Skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Experience with dental practice management software
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures

The salary range for this role is $23-$25 per hour.
