Revenue Cycle Specialist – Dental

We are seeking an experienced and highly knowledgeable Dental Revenue Cycle Specialist to take ownership of insurance-related functions across our dental practice.

This individual will be our go-to expert for all things insurance and will be responsible for ensuring claims are submitted accurately and promptly, payments are properly posted, outstanding claims are aggressively followed up on, patient ledgers remain accurate, and insurance revenue is collected efficiently. You will manage the billing team and be fully responsible for the practice revenue.

The ideal candidate has an exceptional understanding of dental insurance and revenue cycle management and is someone who doesn't simply process claims—they identify problems, investigate discrepancies, follow through to resolution, and make sure revenue does not fall through the cracks.

This position is NOT remote. It is fully in person at either our W. 23rd Street or Hudson St. office.

Schedule: 8:30 - 6:00 Monday - Friday. NO WEEKENDS

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 plus full benefits

Requirements

• Highly experienced in dental insurance and revenue cycle management
• clearing the batch of insurance claims every day, managing the insurance accounts receivables balances (typically to one-month of collections),
• Apply payments to the patient ledger as they are received from insurance.
• Managing the days-to-payment for each insurance carrier, and overall making sure we are paid for all dental services. 
• Monitor what we’re being paid by carriers for procedures, making sure there are no major changes, and working with staff to make sure that we are doing what’s needed operationally to ensure we are paid for services
