Join our dental team and help patients access compassionate, high-quality care across our rural communities.

Full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule is Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:30pm.

As a Dental Scheduler, you’ll be the welcoming first point of contact for patients seeking dental services. In this role, you’ll support smooth access to care by managing appointment scheduling, coordinating information between patients and providers, and delivering friendly, solution-focused service that reflects our commitment to inspiring hope and promoting wellness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for new and returning patients needing to schedule or adjust dental appointments
  • Support multiple dental providers across several locations while maintaining accurate, up-to-date schedules
  • Manage high call volume, voicemail follow-up, and timely communication with patients
  • Gather and enter patient information, including insurance details, service needs, and documentation requirements
  • Coordinate interpreter services and collaborate closely with clinical and front desk teams
  • Maintain daily awareness of schedule accuracy, cancellations, backfill opportunities, and follow-up needs
  • Assist with confirming appointments, sharing visit expectations, and ensuring patients are prepared for their visit
  • Help keep schedules full and support continuity of care through proactive outreach and reporting

Education, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

 High School/GED preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Clerical experience preferred
• Experience with multi-line phone system preferred
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Teams and Outlook required
• Experience in a dental setting preferred
