Dental Sterile Technician

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Klamath Falls, OR

Position Summary

Klamath Health Partnership is seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Dental Sterile Technician to support our busy, multi‑provider dental clinic. This role ensures instruments, operatories, and supplies are cleaned, sterilized, and prepared to keep patient care running smoothly adhering to OSHA, CDC, and KHP protocols.

Essential Duties

  • Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments
  • Prepare and package instruments for sterilization and ensure proper labeling and storage
  • Stock operatories and sterilization areas with instruments and supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organized sterilization center
  • Maintain a steady flow of sterilized instruments for multiple providers
  • Monitor sterilization equipment, weekly/monthly spore testing, and maintain required logs
  • Set up and break down instrument trays for dental procedures
  • Turn over treatment rooms efficiently between patients
  • Assist with inventory and report supply needs
  • Follow all infection control and safety procedures
  • Support the clinical team to help keep the schedule on track

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Dental or medical sterilization experience preferred; willing to train
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a high‑volume environment
  • Positive attitude and team‑oriented approach
  • Dependable, punctual, and self‑motivated
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
  • Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures; a plus
