Job Summary:
The Dental & Surgical Assistant will assist doctors in delivering high-quality care during complex surgical and restorative cases while ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout treatment. This role combines clinical skill, teamwork, and patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist with implants, cosmetic, and full-mouth reconstruction procedures
• Take and review digital X-rays
• Prepare rooms, instruments, and patients for procedures
• Sterilize instruments and manage lab work
• Maintain accurate inventory and supply orders
• Support smooth daily scheduling and patient flow
• Collaborate with doctors and teammates as needed
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of dental assisting experience preferred
• Active X-ray certification required
• Surgical/cosmetic experience a plus (training provided)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Positive, motivated, team-first attitude
• Familiarity with Open Dental a bonus
