About the Role: Blue 3D Full Arch Studio LLC is looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Dental Technician specializing in 3D Printing & Digital Workflow to join our innovative team in Arcadia, CA. Core Responsibilities:
3D Printing & Digital Workflow Operations:
Operate, calibrate, and manage the 3D printing workflow for models, provisionals, nightguards, Essix retainers, surgical guides, and full arches.
Execute post-processing workflows for all 3D printed materials, including washing, curing, and support removal.
Prepare digital print setups and independently manage nesting protocols to optimize production efficiency.
Finishing, Staining & Digital Aesthetics:
Expertly characterize and stain printed provisionals, PMMA restorations, and full arches to achieve lifelike aesthetics.
Finish and polish PMMA restorations, nightguards, Essix retainers, surgical guides, and full arches to a high standard of quality.
Support senior technicians with advanced finishing, polishing, and characterization of complex digital frameworks.
Manufacturing & Digital Production Team Support:
Support the digital production team in day-to-day laboratory software tracking, asset management, and CAD/CAM workflows.
Fabricate digital custom trays, virtual bite blocks, and temporary restorations within a digital-only environment.
Maintain adaptability to cross-train and take on different digital roles within the laboratory as business operations expand.
Digital Lab Maintenance & Calibration:
Maintain a clean, highly organized, and perfectly calibrated digital work area.
Clean, maintain, and log calibrations for 3D printers, curing units, and related digital processing equipment daily.
Restock digital workstations with necessary resins, PMMA blanks, materials, and safety gear.
Administration & Quality Control:
Inspect incoming digital files (scans, prescriptions) for completeness and log cases into the laboratory tracking system.
Independently ensure all printed and finished work meets strict digital quality standards and tolerances for final clearance.
Requirements:
Technical Skills & Experience:
Proven experience with digital 3D printing workflows within a dental laboratory setting.
Practical, hands-on experience staining and characterizing resins (specifically printed provisionals and PMMA).
Demonstrated skill in finishing and polishing 3D printed nightguards, Essix retainers, surgical guides, full arches, and other digital restorations.
High manual dexterity and attention to detail required for the precision finishing of digitally manufactured appliances.

Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with specialized full-arch workflows, including the production and post-processing of full-arch implant restorations.
Hands-on experience with the complete digital-to-digital workflow for nightguards, Essix retainers, surgical guides, and other printed restorations.
Basic to intermediate experience utilizing dental CAD/CAM platforms or digital design software (e.g., exocad, 3Shape).
Schedule:
Full-time "at will employment", Monday through Friday (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week). 90 day probation with the possibility on extension.
