Qualifications:
  • One year of dental front desk experience.
  • Knowledge of dental insurance protocols and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, punctual, and a team player.
  • Experience with Open Dental software preferred.
  • Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures.

The Treatment Plan Coordinator works alongside the office manager and clinical team to deliver an exceptional patient experience. Ideal candidates should possess a friendly, outgoing demeanor and excellent organizational skills, along with the ability to direct and help maintain full, productive patient schedules.

Essential Functions:
  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the practice.
  • Check in patients according to office protocol, verifying and updating patient information.
  • Confirm appointments according to protocol and patient preferences.
  • Schedule appointments for efficient use of doctor and staff time.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional reception area.
  • Manage the recall and inactive patient systems.
  • Collect patient payments at the time of service.
  • Prepare financial treatment plans and present plan options to patients.
  • Gather and verify patient benefits while maintaining accurate benefit summaries in dental software.
  • Open and close the dental office according to established office protocols.
  • Handle daily cash procedures and balance the day's transactions.
  • Submit insurance claims for completed treatments and process prior authorizations.
