Description
Our Orthodontic practice, located in Manhattan, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing New Patient examinations, Case Presentations, and Observation examinations in a warm and inviting manner. Track patient experience from the initial examination to the start of treatment as directed. Communicate extensively with patients, parents, general dentists, dental specialists, doctors, and staff.
Primary Duties:
Guiding new patients through their examination and diagnosis process on time and with great efficiency
Presenting treatment fees and payment options
Assisting new patients with scheduling their start appointments
Tracking patients with detailed follow-up daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly with verbal and written reports
Answering any questions presented by new patients in a warm and instructive manner
Accurate statistical gathering and reporting of conversion ratio and patient status

Requirements
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in dental treatment coordination or front desk
In-depth knowledge of dental insurance policies and procedures
Knowledge of managed care plans and insurance verification is a plus.
Hands-on experience with a dental EMR system
Experience presenting treatment plans and explaining fees and payment options to patients or parents is a plus.
Experience communicating with general dentists or dental specialists is a plus.

Compensation: $28.00-$35.00/hour based on experience
