Overview

Dental Treatment Coordinator

Dental Implant and Perio Partners

 

We are seeking a personable and organized Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting patients by reviewing recommended treatment plans, discussing financial arrangements, coordinating care, and ensuring a seamless experience from consultation through completion of treatment.

Our patient centered periodontal practice is committed to delivering exceptional care in a comfortable, modern environment. We value professionalism, compassion, and teamwork, and we are looking for someone who shares our dedication to outstanding patient care.

 

Schedule: Full Time, M/W 7:30am-5:00pm, T/TH 7:30am-4:00pm and Fri 7:30am-12:00pm


Responsibilities

  • Present proposed treatment plans to patients and explain procedures, timelines, and financial obligations
  • Coordinate scheduling of treatment appointments based on provider availability and patient needs
  • Obtain necessary pre-authorizations and ensure accurate insurance benefit breakdowns
  • Review payment options, process financial arrangements, and collect payments as needed
  • Follow up with patients regarding pending treatment and ensure timely case acceptance
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans and communication
  • Serve as a liaison between the provider and patient to facilitate understanding and trust
  • Educate patients on the importance and value of proposed treatments
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations
  • Assist with front desk duties as needed
  • Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned 

Qualifications

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in a dental administrative role
  • 3+ years of experience presenting treatment plans

Preferred Skills

  • Dentrix experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Experience with dental practice management software
  • Ability to explain complex information in a clear and supportive way
  • Understanding of dental procedures, codes, and insurance plans
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and regulatory requirements
