    Job Overview
    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled dentist to join our client's private dental office. This is a modern office with a lot of patients and a wonderful team. There is great mentoring or collaboration available as well.

    The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of general and specialized dentistry practices, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. As a dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing oral health issues, developing treatment plans, and performing a wide range of dental procedures in a professional and compassionate manner. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the oral health and well-being of our diverse patient community while utilizing advanced dental technology and adhering to the highest standards of safety and hygiene.

    Duties

    • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging.
    • Develop personalized treatment plans that address both immediate concerns and long-term oral health goals.
    • Perform various dental procedures such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgeries with precision and care.
    • Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for documentation, scheduling, and medical records management.
    • Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
    • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
    • Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical documentation standards.
    • Stay current with advancements in dental technology, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing professional development.

    Experience

    • Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment with a focus on general dentistry.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in pediatric dentistry, including working with pediatric patients and understanding their unique needs.
    • Skilled in performing complex procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
    • Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge relevant to oral health care.
    • Experience using digital dental imaging systems and managing electronic health records efficiently.
    • Knowledge of infection control standards aligned with OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe clinical environment.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations while providing compassionate care.
