Job Requirements - Licensed Dentist (DMD/DDS)
  • Active dental license (DDS or DMD). Multiple state licenses required. South Dakota, North Dakota, Alask, Hawaii Preferred.
  • Experience with chart review, clinical product recommendations, or tele-dentistry/telehealth dentist workflows is a plus.
  • Interest or experience in functional medicine and oral-to-gut health highly desirable.
  • Comfortable with asynchronous workflows and common EMR/EHR platforms (messaging, chart documentation).
  • Ability to review and write/sign medical necessity letters for HSA account use.
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to clinical detail in a remote setting.

Responsibilities - Telehealth Dentist / Virtual Chart Reviewer
  • Perform asynchronous review of patient medical and dental history, diagnoses, and product/service requests.
  • Assess charts and recommend appropriate dental products or services based on clinical determination and best practices.
  • Write and sign medical necessity letters to support HSA eligibility when clinically appropriate.
  • Communicate with patients via EMR messaging as needed in a professional, patient-focused manner.
  • Maintain accurate, timely chart documentation and meet productivity goals (approximately 30 chart reviews per hour in this fast-paced role).
  • Collaborate with the clinical operations team to support onboarding, quality assurance, and workflow optimization for tele-dentistry services.
