Summary


Highly regarded general dental practice in Edgewood, NM (15 minutes East of Albuquerque) seeking an associate general dentist. 


We serve a large rural community of kind and appreciative patients with high quality state-of-the-art dentistry. 


We have had a high demand for appointments and are able to keep another practitioner busy. Owner doctor is willing to teach and is patient with new graduates. 


Our family-oriented practice offers clear aligners, implant treatment, and one-day crown


visits, digital 3D films, along with all other generalized & esthetic dental care. 


As a bonus we have an exceptionally friendly cohesive staff and offer medical and retirement options.



Responsibilities:
  • Provide thorough examinations to determine overall dental health and evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection
  • Diagnose and treat dental problems including root canals, extractions, and restoration
  • Perform dental care treatments including x-rays, fillings, sealants, and cosmetic dental services
  • Consult with other dental specialists when necessary
  • Supervise staff
  • Provide education to patients on oral hygiene and use of orthodontics and dental appliances
  • Adhere to strict OSHA & HIPAA  guidelines
Qualifications
  • DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA-accredited dental school is required
  • Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry
  • Current state license
  • Previous experience in clinical or private practice
  • CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications
  • Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends
  • Excellent bedside manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
