Our client, a reputable healthcare organization focused on comprehensive dental care and academic training, is hiring a general Dentist. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated dental professional to join a well-established practice with a focus on outpatient services, teaching, and community engagement. Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive dental care to adult and pediatric patients, with an emphasis on adult treatments.
  • Perform general dentistry procedures, including restorations, extractions, and root canal treatments.
  • Assist in resident and student education, fostering a teaching environment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including dental assistants and hygienists.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in residency training programs and potentially contribute to curriculum development.
  • Cover scheduled shifts, including optional Saturdays, and adapt to flexible work arrangements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an attending or teaching environment, or 5 years of general dentistry practice.
  • Proficiency in pediatric dentistry, root canal therapy, extractions, and general procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, comfort with pediatric patients, and ability to work effectively with residents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Experience with the EPIC Wisdom system (training provided) is preferred.
  • Valid dental license in NY or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Ability to work approximately 37.5 hours per week with potential for flexible scheduling.
  • No visa sponsorship or relocation assistance
