This role is responsible for leading a team of production team members, ensuring safety, maintaining quality standards, meeting production goals, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Shift and Compensation

  • Compensation is from 45,760 USD to 52,000 USD per year
Job Duties
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of production team members.
  • Plan and coordinate daily department activities to meet production schedules.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency while ensuring customer specifications are met.
  • Promote and enforce all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate production goals, expectations, and updates.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Monitor attendance, performance, and team member engagement.
  • Assist with team member training, onboarding, and cross-training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to resolve production issues.
  • Ensure proper use of equipment, tools, and materials.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Address team members' concerns professionally and promote a positive team environment.
Background Profile
  • Required
    • High school diploma or GED.
    • 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
    • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to read production schedules, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Preferred
    • Experience in trailer, automotive, RV, or heavy equipment manufacturing.
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
    • Experience with welding, fabrication, assembly, or production processes.
    • Associate's degree or technical certification is a plus.
